  I visited Renata's Simply Delicious Lodge in the spring of 2010 with my sister—the beauty of this lodge, nestled in the middle of the Rocky Mountains on the edge of a pristine lake took our breath away. Whether you are looking for a relaxing retreat with gourmet food, an ecofriendly off-the-grid "Green" vacation (solar-powered, with internet!), or an adventure-riddled itinerary, this is the place for you. From hiking, canoeing, swimming, mountain biking, to photography, painting, lounging in hammocks with your favorite books, building bonfires, hanging around Shari's extensive gardens with the hummingbirds, or spending time with loved ones far from the city, this getaway offers something for everyone. Intelligent and engaging hosts Ari and Shari will make sure that you have wonderful time! I absolutely loved it! Can't wait to head back out into the Kootenays for a second trip to Simply Delicious.

  This summer with my girlfriend and our 3 dogs I visited Ari and Shari at the Simply Delicious Lodge and greatly enjoyed my stay there. It was a beautiful location and Ari and Shari made sure the humans and the dogs had a great time. I would recommend this lodge for anyone who would like to get away and relax. There are also many great activities to do around the Renata area like hiking, boating, and swimming. I will certainly be back to Renata as often as possible.

  My husband, myself, and our two dogs vacationed in Renata at Simply Delicious Lodge this summer (2011). In short, we loved it! Our hosts, Ari & Shari, were completely welcoming & accommodating. The Lodge, itself, was stunning, off-grid, very thoughtfully laid out, and beautifully crafted with artistic touches. And THE FOOD was outstanding! Tremendous efforts were made to accommodate my numerous dietary restrictions, with no compromise in flavour whatsoever! SD Lodge and it's hosts created the atmosphere for a deliciously relaxing holiday. We will absolutely be back.
